AUBURNDALE – The Auburndale girls basketball team won its third game in a row, rolling past Edgar 48-32 in a Marawood Conference South Division game Tuesday at Auburndale High School.
Auburndale pulled out to an 11-point lead by halftime and finished off the win to improve to 14-7 overall and 10-4 in the Marawood South.
Rose Hasenohrl had 13 points and Myah Katzenberger added 10 points in the victory for the Eagles.
No Edgar player scored in double figures as the Wildcats (9-11, 6-8 Marawood South) was held to just 11 made field goals.
Auburndale plays a Marawood crossover game at Athens on Friday.
