MARSHFIELD – The University of Wisconsin-Marshfield/Wood County women’s basketball team dropped a 73-45 decision to Western Technical College on Wednesday night at the Marauder Gym.

The Marauders drop to 4-9 following the nonconference loss.

Pagie Albrecht scored 19 points and Ashley Pongratz had 10 points and 13 rebounds for UW-Marshfield.

“We couldn’t buy a basket in the first half and then in the second half we got lazy on defense,” Marauders coach Lori Galetka said.

The Marauders return to action Jan. 19 at UW-Waukesha.
