MADISON – The 2024 WIAA State Boys Basketball Tournament concluded Saturday with five divisional championship games at the Kohl Center.
Marshfield Columbus Catholic kicked off Championship Saturday with a 81-75 win over Madison Abundant Life Christian to win the Division 5 title and its first gold ball in its fourth trip to state.
In Division 4, an offensive rebound and basket at the buzzer by Drew Aschliman gave Mineral Point a 65-64 victory over Kenosha St. Joseph and its first state championship.
Milwaukee St. Thomas More also won its first state title as it defeated Lakeside Lutheran 65-54 in the Division 3 final.
Wisconsin Lutheran snagged its third Division 2 title (2009, 2014) with a dominating 83-62 victory over Pewaukee, which had won the previous three D-2 championships.
In the Division 1 final, Milwaukee Marquette downed Hartland Arrowhead 84-62, claiming its first state title in its third trip to Madison.
