Marshfield has six named to 2023-24 All-Wisconsin Valley Conference Girls Basketball Team

Six Marshfield players earned honors, including unanimous first-team pick Ashley Grancorvitz, on the 2023-24 All-Wisconsin Valley Conference Girls Basketball Team, as voted on by the seven conference coaches following the season.

Grancorvitz was one of five first-team selections after helping Marshfield to a share of the Wisconsin Valley Conference title along with Stevens Point.

Stevens Point freshman Jada Seubert and Merrill senior Mia Ott were also unanimous first-team picks. Wausau West senior Kelly Kray and Wisconsin Rapids junior Kristin Radtke rounded out the first team.

Grancorvitz led the Tigers in scoring at 14.8 points per game, shooting 47.1 percent from the field with a team-high 51 3-pointers.

Junior guard Zaida Kolbeck was named to the second team for Marshfield after averaging 9.8 points per game with 35 3-pointers. She also led the team in assists with 101 and steals with 56.

Seniors Raella Schueller and Ayana Bousum, and juniors Emma Ridgway and McKenzie Holm were honorable mention choices for the Tigers.

Seubert was named Player of the Year in the conference as she averaged 19.9 points per game, while shooting 80 percent at the free throw line and 50 percent from the field. She also averaged 4.8 rebounds, 4.2 steals and 3.7 assists per game for Stevens Point.

Ott led Merrill in scoring at 18.7 points per game with 69 3-pointers, rebounding at 7.4 per game and assists at 4.4 per game.

Kray averaged 13.7 points and a conference-best 11.2 rebounds per game for Wausau West.

Radtke led Wisconsin Rapids in scoring at 12 points per game.
