Auburndale seniors Kaden Anderson and Caden Weinfurter, and Stratford senior Brady Schmidt earned first-team honors on the 2023-24 All-Marawood Conference South Division Boys Basketball Team, as voted on by the six conference coaches following the season.
The Auburndale duo and Schmidt were joined on the first team by Marathon seniors Grant Warren and Tyler Underwood. Warren was named Player of the Year.
Anderson led Auburndale in scoring at 14.8 points and rebounding at 6.7 boards per game, while Weinfurter averaged 14.6 points and 6.5 rebounds per game with 66 made 3-pointers as the Eagles placed second in the Marawood South with a 13-3 record.
Schmidt led Stratford in scoring at 11.6 points per game with a team-best 59 3-pointers, while shooting 56 percent from the field.
Warren led Marathon to an undefeated 16-0 record and the Marawood South title averaging 21.8 points and 12.5 rebounds per game, and shot 67 percent from the field.
Underwood averaged 13.4 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game for Marathon.
Stratford junior Drew Bruesewitz was a second-team pick, while Henry Zaleksi and Payton Glenn earned honorable mention status.
Auburndale’s Blake Raab and Evan Scholl were also among the honorable mention picks.
Raab and Glenn were also named to the All-Defensive Team.
