WESTON – D.C. Everest goalie Mark Lambrecht stopped all 25 shots he faced, and Mike Kucil scored twice to lead the Evergreens to a 4-0 win over Marshfield in a Wisconsin Valley Conference boys hockey game Tuesday at D.C. Everest High School.
David Hintz and Sam Joswiak added goals for Everest, which improves to 3-4-3 in the Valley. Marshfield falls to 3-5 after suffering its second loss to Everest this season.
David Kluball had 26 saves in goal for the Tigers (7-12 overall).
Marshfield returns to action Thursday at home against Wisconsin Rapids. Game time is 7 p.m. at the Marshfield Youth Ice Recreation Center at the Marshfield Fairgrounds.
