MOSINEE – Mosinee broke open a scoreless game with two runs in the fourth inning, added four more in the fifth and went on to defeat Marshfield 7-2 in a nonconference baseball game Tuesday at Mosinee High School.
Cameron Ziebell had two RBI, and Brady Lokken had two hits and scored twice for Mosinee (11-3).
Owen Griesbach had a two-run single in the fifth inning to account for both of the Tigers’ runs. Chase Robinson and Caleb Schaefer each had two hits for Marshfield (2-4).
Marshfield will travel to Antigo for another nonconference game on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
