STEVENS POINT – Marshfield had eight first-place finishers and won the team title at the SPASH Panther Girls Track Invitational on Thursday at Goerke Field.
Marshfield racked up 618.5 points in the true team scoring system used for the meet, with Stevens Point second with 530. D.C. Everest (503), Marathon (364), Wausau East (222.5) and Rosholt (160) also competed at the event.
Marshfield’s 3,200-meter relay team of Adeline Lonsdale, Calleigh Kanitz, Ava Raab and McKenzie Holm won in 10:25.19, and the 400 relay team of Devyn LeMoine, Gracie Ridgway, Hannah Ridgway and Emma Ridgway won in 51.75 seconds.
Individual winners for Marshfield were: Olivia Page in the 100 (13.23), Holm in the 800 (2:31.96), Gracie Ridgway in the 200 (27.21), Emma Ridgway in the high jump (5-0), LeMoine in the pole vault (9-6) and Ashley Grancorvitz in the triple jump (33-9).
The Marshfield JV team was also the team champion and had six first-place finishers: Lily Adler in the triple jump (33-2), Emma Ridgway in the shot put (28-1), Abby Joyce in the 100 hurdles (19.45), Miriam McKee in the 1,600 (6:27.47), Issie Wojcik in the 300 hurdles (59.11) and the 800 relay team of Peyton Daul, Brinley Daul, Ayana Bousum and Alyvia Dietsche (1:59.18).
