PHILLIPS – The Stratford softball team made quick work in its nonconference game at Phillips on Friday, rolling to a 16-0 three-inning victory.
The Tigers used a nine-run third to end the game via the 15-run rule.
Stratford had eight hits – two each from Laney Pankratz and Carly Pankratz – and Mykayla Stueber drove in three runs in the win as the Tigers improve to 9-4 this season.
Stratford returns to action Tuesday at Edgar.
