MARSHFIELD – Marshfield Columbus Catholic shot a nine-hole score of 194 to win the fifth Cloverbelt Conference East Division Boys Golf Tournament meet of the season on Tuesday at Marshfield Country Club.
Tucker Johnson of Neillsville won medalist honors with a 38, one shot better than Columbus Catholic’s Charlie Moore.
The Dons finished 10 strokes ahead of second-place Stanley-Boyd, with Colby and Neillsville tying for third with 215s.
Kohle Hilgemann finished in a tie for fourth with a 49, Kaleb Hilgemann added a 52, Josh Van Wyhe had a 54 and Keller Bredemann shot 57 to round out the scoring for Columbus Catholic.
The Columbus Catholic Invitational featuring 11 teams will be held Tuesday, May 7, at RiverEdge Golf Course in Marshfield. The final Cloverbelt East meet is May 9 at Neillsville Country Club, and the overall Cloverbelt Conference Tournament will be May 14 at Skyline Golf Course in Black River Falls.
