SPENCER – The Spencer softball team scored 14 runs in the second inning and defeated Owen-Withee 15-0 in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division game Friday at Spencer High School.

Owen-Withee was the home team.

Spencer pitcher Berklie Ireland struck out five and did not allow a hit or a walk in the three-inning win, which ended due to the 15-run rule.
