Stratford baseball blanks Rib Lake, extends winning streak to 10

RIB LAKE – Drew Gage and Brady Berg combined on a three-hit shutout for the Stratford baseball team in a 7-0 nonconference win over Rib Lake on Friday at Rib Lake High School.

Gage struck out three and walked four in five innings, and Berg finished up with two shutout innings to give Stratford its 10th-straight win.

Jack Tubbs had two hits and two RBI, Berg was 3-for-4, and Henry Zaleski knocked in a pair of runs for Stratford (14-3).

Stratford will host Pittsville for a nonconference game Tuesday at 4:45 p.m.
