Columbus Catholic softball rolls past Owen-Withee, finishes off undefeated Cloverbelt East season

OWEN – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic softball team put the finishing touches on an undefeated Cloverbelt Conference East Division championship season with a 20-4 rout of Owen-Withee on Tuesday at Owen-Withee High School.

The Dons scored 10 times in the first inning and went on to pound out 18 hits in the victory, improving to 16-5 overall and finishing the Cloverbelt East season at 12-0.

Maddy Kraus and Ciena Adler each had three hits, with Kraus driving in three runs for Columbus. Elise Gauger and Sam Casperson both added two RBI in the win.

Columbus Catholic will finish its regular season Thursday at Stratford.
