Auburndale softball shuts out Tigerton

TIGERTON – The Auburndale softball team scored four times in each of the first two innings and blew past Tigerton 11-0 in a nonconference game Tuesday at Tigerton High School.

Morgan Griesbach, Sammy Stanton and Myah Katzenberger combined on a five-inning one-hitter for the Eagles, who are now 16-3 this season.

Mya Krings had two hits and scored three times, and Stanton and Taylor Anderson each drove in a pair of runs for Auburndale.

Auburndale will finish its regular-season schedule at Wittenberg-Birnamwood on Thursday.
