STRATFORD – The Stratford baseball team continued its dominating pitching in a 5-2 win over Nekoosa on Thursday at the Tiger Stadium Baseball Field.
Five pitchers combined on a one-hitter as the Tigers won their 12th game in a row and it was their 10th in a row allowing two runs or fewer.
Landon Zawislan, Vance Kielman, Henry Zaleski and Drew Gage each pitched one shutout inning, with Brady Berg finishing it off, allowing two unearned runs in three innings with five strikeouts.
Jack Tubbs, Riley Spindler and Berg all had two hits, with Spindler scoring twice to pace the offense for Stratford, which improves to 16-3 this spring.
Stratford will play a doubleheader at Medford on Friday starting at 3:30 p.m.
