Stratford baseball shuts out Mosinee

WAUSAU – Landon Zawislan had three hits, including a two-run home run, and drove in five to lead the Stratford baseball team a 10-0 rout of Mosinee in a nonconference game Monday at Athletic Park.

Brady Schmidt threw a five-inning three-hit shutout for the Tigers, who improve to 17-5.

Brady Berg had a two-run double and finished with three RBI, and Zawislan had a two-run double on top of his home run in the third inning as Stratford rolled to the win.

Stratford will host Neillsville/Granton for a nonconference game Tuesday before wrapping up its regular-season schedule at home Thursday against Laona/Wabeno.
