STEVENS POINT – The Marshfield girls soccer team wrapped up its regular season with a 1-1 tie against Stevens Point on Thursday at the Portage County Youth Soccer Complex.

Amelia Castleberg scored off an assist from Jocelyn Trzebiatowski just 2:41 into the game to give the Panthers (9-8-2, 3-4-1 Wisconsin Valley Conference) a quick 1-0 lead.

Abby Ongna scored on an assist by Keira Raab five minutes later to tie it for Marshfield and neither team would find the net again over the final 72 minutes of play.

Marshfield (6-7-4, 3-2-3 WVC) will host Wausau East (4-10) for a WIAA Division 2 regional semifinal on Tuesday at Heiting Community Stadium at 7 p.m.
