WHITTLESEY – The Marshfield Chaparrals dropped a road game to the Whittlesey Reds 7-2 on Monday afternoon.

The game, originally scheduled as the Chaps home opener on Sunday, was rained out and moved to Whittlesey due to wet field conditions.

Preston Wagner pitched 3 1/3 innings of shutout relief for Marshfield.
