MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield Junior Legion baseball team lost both ends of a doubleheader against De Pere on Sunday afternoon at Safford Field.
De Pere used a 12-run fifth inning to roll to a 20-0 win in Game 1, and scored in six of its seven at-bats in the second game to outlast the Junior Devils 11-7.
Marshfield (1-2) was held to three hits in the first game, two by Easton Ledden.
In Game 2, Mason Anderson had a double and a home run and scored twice to pace the Marshfield offense.
Marshfield will host Antigo at 6 p.m. Monday at Jack Hackman Field.
