Marshfield Senior Legion baseball rolls past Neenah to wrap up Wisconsin Rapids Tournament

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The Marshfield Senior Legion baseball team knocked out a five-run first inning and rolled to an 11-1 win over Neenah in its final game at the Wisconsin Rapids Tournament on Sunday at Lincoln High School.

Mac Konieczny tossed a complete game, allowing just one run on six hits with five strikeouts, to earn the win for Marshfield.

Cain Toufar had two doubles and an RBI, and Adam Gilbertson and Jakob Sadowska each had two hits for the Blue Devils, who finish the three-day tournament at 2-2 and are now 2-6 overall this season.

Marshfield will play at Wausau on Monday at 7 p.m.
