EAU CLAIRE – The Marshfield Post 54 Senior Legion baseball team split a pair of games at the Eau Claire Legion Tournament on Saturday at Carson Park.

Marshfield defeated Winona (Minn.) LeJetz 5-0 before dropping a 4-2 decision to host Eau Claire.

Blake Raab threw a complete-game four-hit shutout against Winona for the Blue Devils, finishing with eight strikeouts and no walks.

Emmitt Konieczny, Owen Griesbach and Cain Toufar each had two hits, with Griesbach and Adam Gilbertson both driving in two runs in the victory.

Eau Claire scored all four of its runs in the third inning against Marshfield pitcher Aden Cherney, who went the distance on the mound, striking out two.

Chase Robinson hit a solo home run and Cain Toufar drove in Konieczny with a single for Marshfield’s two runs in the sixth inning, but that would be all the Blue Devils would get.

Marshfield (12-15) will wrap up action at the three-day tournament against De Pere at 1:30 p.m. Sunday before hosting Stevens Point at 7 p.m. Monday at Jack Hackman Field.
