Marshfield Junior Legion loses to Stevens Point, eliminated from 17U regional

SCANDINAVIA – The Marshfield Junior Legion baseball team had its season come to an end with a 12-4 loss to Stevens Point in an elimination game at the 17U Legion baseball regional on Monday afternoon.

Marshfield led 4-1 after five innings before Stevens Point erupted for eight runs in the top of the sixth to grab a decisive lead.

Mason Anderson had three hits and two RBI for the Blue Devils, who finish the season with a 16-13 record.

Marshfield was hurt by eight walks and seven fielding errors in the loss.
