OSSEO – Two Lomira pitchers combined on a two-hitter and shutout Stratford 10-0 in a winners’ bracket game at the 2024 Wisconsin Class A American Legion Baseball State Tournament on Saturday at Merchants Field.
Lomira scored in four of its five at-bats and won in five innings via the 10-run rule.
Riley Spindler and Brady Schmidt had singles for Stratford’s only hits in the loss.
Stratford (14-8) moves into an elimination game against Westby at 1 p.m. Sunday as the double-elimination tournament continues.
