TOMAH – The Marshfield girls golf team opened its 2024 season with a fourth-place finish at the 23-team Tomah Tune Up Invitational on Monday at Hiawatha Golf Course.
Brielle Lenz led the Tigers with an 82, taking ninth in the individual standings.
Lexxi Oertel shot a 95, McKenzie Holm had a 96, Lauren Boon had a 109 and Kylie Laufenberg had a 113 to round out the scoring for Marshfield.
Prescott won the team title with a 321, three shots ahead of Tomah. Marshfield took fourth among the 23 teams with a 382.
Belle Kongshaug of Colfax/Elk Mound won medalist honors with a 72, one shot in front of Tomah’s Karma Hasselberger.
Marshfield will play at the Seymour Thunder Invitational on Wednesday at Crystal Springs Golf Course.
