Marshfield’s Lenz, Holm team to place second at Wausau Girls Golf Invitational

WAUSAU – The Marshfield team of Brielle Lenz and McKenzie Holm placed second at the Wausau Girls Golf Invitational on Thursday at Trapp River Golf Course.

The meet featured two-person teams playing nine hole of best ball and a nine-hole scramble.

Talia Schlindwein and Anika Creisher of Wausau East/West won the tournament with a 76, with Lenz and Holm taking second for Marshfield with a 78. Wisconsin Rapids’ Ava Fetterer and Natalie Henslin placed third with an 83.

The remainder of the scores were not reported.

Marshfield will be back in action Monday at the Wisconsin Rapids Invitational at Bull’s Eye Golf Course on Monday starting at 9 a.m.
