WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Brielle Lenz shot an 84 to win medalist honors and lead the Marshfield girls golf team to a second-place finish at the Wisconsin Rapids Invitational on Monday at Bull’s Eye Country Club.
Onalaska finished with a score of 383, one shot better than Marshfield. Wisconsin Rapids was third with a 391.
Lenz finished first individually by four shots over Onalaska’s Finley Schams. McKenzie Holm took fourth place with a 93, Kylie Laufenberg shot a 107, Lauren Boon had a 109 and Cece Reissman had a 132 as well for the Tigers.
Marshfield will compete at the first Wisconsin Valley Conference Meet of the season Wednesday at Trapp River Golf Course in Wausau.
