Marshfield girls golf ties for sixth at Northern Bay Invitational

ARKDALE – The Marshfield girls golf team tied for sixth at the 17-team Northern Bay Invitational on Thursday at Northern Bay Golf Resort.

Onalaska won the team total with a 357, seven strokes in front of Monona Grove. Marshfield tied Wisconsin Rapids for sixth place with a 391.

Marshfield’s Brielle Lenz tied for fourth individually with an 87, five shots in back of meet medalist Lauren Reed of Monona Grove. McKenzie Holm added a 90 to finish 11th for the Tigers.

Rounding out Marshfield’s scoring was Lexxi Oertel with a 96, Lauren Boon with a 118 and Kylie Laufenberg with a 120.

Marshfield will compete at the second leg of the Wisconsin Valley Conference Tournament on Friday at Crane Meadows Golf Course in Weston.
