STRATFORD – The Stratford volleyball team earned a 3-0 nonconference sweep of Marshfield Columbus Catholic, winning 25-18, 25-17, 25-17, on Tuesday night at Stratford High School.

Emerson Roy had nine assists to surpass 1,000 in her career for Stratford.

McKenzie Novotny and Tria Tubbs each had six kills, and Daisy Yoder added five for the Tigers. Laney Pankratz topped Stratford with 10 assists and Kalyn Schueller had six digs as well for Stratford.

Shelby Spata had nine kills, Abby Kibbel and Aubrey Waldhauser each had six kills, Alayna Egle had a team-high 26 assists and Gracie Wilczek had nine digs and five kills for Columbus Catholic.

Stratford will play a nonconference match at Pittsville on Thursday. Columbus Catholic will take some time off before playing at the Auburndale Invitational on Sept. 14.
