MARSHFIELD – Carter Sommer saved all 11 shots he saw in goal to lead the Columbus Catholic soccer team to a 2-0 shutout of Wausau Newman Catholic in a Central Wisconsin Conference match Monday at Griese Park.

Cade Jansen scored in the 14th and 50th minutes for the Dons, both on assists from Mason Edwards, to provide the Dons with all they needed to win their fourth-straight game.

Columbus Catholic improves to 6-1 overall and 3-0 in the CWC heading into a nonconference game at Three Lakes/Phelps on Tuesday at 5 p.m.
