OWEN – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic volleyball team opened its Cloverbelt Conference East Division campaign with a 3-0 sweep of Owen-Withee on Tuesday night at Owen-Withee High School.
The Dons rolled to a dominating 25-16, 25-11, 25-12 victory.
Aubrey Waldhauser had 12 kills and six blocks, Sophie Wilczek had a team-beat 14 assists, and Delia Trader led the defense with 22 digs for the Dons.
Shelby Spata added eight kills and nine digs, and Alayna Egle finished with 10 assists as well for Columbus Catholic.
The Dons will play a nonconference match at Abbotsford on Thursday.
