STEVENS POINT – Cade Jansen had a pair of goals and an assist to lead the Marshfield Columbus Catholic soccer team to a 7-2 win over Stevens Point Pacelli/Iola-Scandinavia in a Central Wisconsin Conference game Thursday night at the Portage County Youth Soccer Complex.
Xan Rodriguez scored just 1:17 into the game, and after Pacelli tied it, Jansen scored to put the Dons up 2-1, which held through halftime.
The Dons then ripped off four goals in the first 10:48 of the second half to pull away.
Ezra Duda, Jansen, Elijah Drury, Mason Edwards and Jaylee Garneau all had second-half goals for Columbus Catholic (11-2-1, 6-1 Central Wisconsin Conference).
The Dons will host Tri-County on Monday at Griese Park starting at 5 p.m.
