SPENCER – The Spencer volleyball team picked up its first Cloverbelt Conference East Division win of the 2024 season with a 3-0 sweep of Greenwood on Thursday night at Spencer High School.
The Rockets won 25-17, 25-16, 25-16, and are now 1-2 in the Cloverbelt East. Greenwood falls to 0-3.
Spencer finished with 20 service aces, including six by Shelby Frisch and five from Chloe Timm.
Carmen Krause had seven kills, Autumn Davis added four kills, Timm finished with a team-best eight assists, and Alexa Stange had 20 digs for the Rockets.
Spencer will compete at the Abbotsford Invitational on Saturday.
