AUBURNDALE – The Marawood Conference dual meet season ended without a victory for the Auburndale wrestling team, which dropped a 75-6 decision to second-place Athens on Monday night in the regular-season finale for the Apaches.
Auburndale’s only victory of the match came at 119 pounds, where Sam Frodl pinned Phil Steinke in 3:23.
Athens (5-1 Marawood) won seven matches by pin and five others by forfeit.
Auburndale (0-7 Marawood) will host the Marawood Conference Tournament on Saturday.
