Columbus Catholic volleyball remains unbeaten in Cloverbelt East with sweep of Greenwood

GREENWOOD – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic volleyball team had little trouble with host Greenwood, rolling to a 25-6, 25-17, 25-9, win in Cloverbelt Conference East Division action Tuesday at Greenwood High School.

The Dons are now 4-0 in conference play, while Greenwood drops to 0-4.

Alayna Egle had 19 assists, six service aces, five digs and three kills in a solid all-around performance for Columbus Catholic.

Shelby Spata finished with a team-high eight kills and also had seven digs, Gracie Wilczek added six kills and nine digs, and Sophie Wilczek had 12 assists and four aces in the win for Columbus Catholic.

The Dons will host Spencer on Thursday at 7:15 p.m.
