EDGAR – The Stratford volleyball team clinched no worse than a tie for the Marawood Conference South Division title with a 3-0 sweep of Edgar on Tuesday at Edgar High School.

The Tigers won 25-13, 25-21, 25-16, to remain perfect in conference play at 4-0. Edgar is now 2-2.

Kalyn Schueller led the Stratford offense with 11 of its 17 kills. She also had a team-best seven digs and five service aces.

Emerson Roy finished with nine assists and five digs, Carly Pankratz added five digs, and McKenzie Novotny had four aces in the win for the Tigers.

Stratford will host Manawa for a nonconference match Thursday before hosting Wisconsin Rapids Assumption on Tuesday, Oct. 8, as it has a chance to win its second-straight undefeated Marawood South championship.
