Stratford volleyball pounds Manawa for 21st win in a row

STRATFORD – The Stratford volleyball team earned a 3-0 sweep of Manawa in a nonconference matchup Thursday at Stratford High School.

The Tigers won 25-11, 26-24, 25-16, to win their 21st-straight match and improve to 26-3 this season.

Kalyn Schueller had another great all-around match for Stratford, leading the team with 17 kills and 10 digs.

Emerson Roy had 14 assists, Laney Pankratz added eight assists, Carly Pankratz finished with eight digs, and McKenzie Novotny and Daisy Yoder each had four kills for the Tigers.

Stratford will look to put the finishing touches on its second-straight undefeated Marawood Conference South Division title when it hosts Wisconsin Rapids Assumption on Tuesday.
