MARATHON – Sidney Wolff sent home 20 kills as the Auburndale volleyball team defeated Athens 3-1 in a Marawood Conference Crossover Challenge match on Tuesday at Marathon High School.
The Eagles won 25-18, 22-25, 25-16, 25-15.
Oriah Harris added eight kills, Lily Bellanti had seven kills, Jaylnn Scherr finished with 20 assists and Chesney Nagel had 17, and Kylie Anderson had 13 digs for Auburndale.
Auburndale will finish its regular-season schedule Thursday at home against Pittsville in a nonconference matchup beginning at 7 p.m.
The WIAA postseason brackets will be announced Wednesday, with the playoffs beginning with regional quarterfinals on Tuesday, Oct. 22.
