RIB LAKE – Izzy Holz and Sophie Wilczek each scored 16 points as the Marshfield Columbus Catholic girls basketball team won its season-opener 68-66 over Rib Lake on Tuesday at Rib Lake High School.

The Dons ran out to a 39-34 lead by halftime and were able to hold off every Rib Lake run the rest of the way to secure the victory.

A 3-pointer from Wilczek gave the Dons a 64-60 lead with 2:22 to go.
