NEENAH – The Marshfield girls basketball team dropped its second-straight game to start the season, falling to Neenah 49-44 in a nonconference matchup Tuesday at Neenah High School.
Zaida Kolbeck scored 20 points on the strength of 8-for-11 free throw shooting, and Hailey Klumb and Emma Ridgway each pulled down six rebounds for the Tigers (0-2).
Marshfield was held to 34 percent shooting (16-for-47) and went just 4-for-14 from 3-point range.
Rowan Klesmit scored 23 points to lead Neenah (3-0).
Marshfield will have a couple of weeks off from competition before opening its Wisconsin Valley Conference season at home against Wisconsin Rapids on Tuesday, Dec. 10.
