Spencer girls basketball earns road win at Nekoosa to improve to 3-0

NEKOOSA – Spencer clamped down in the second half, outscoring Nekoosa by 15 points, to win a nonconference girls basketball game 51-31 on Tuesday night at Nekoosa High School.

The Rockets led 22-17 at halftime before dominating the final 18 minutes.

Alexa Weber scored 12 of her team-high 16 points after halftime to lead the way for Spencer, which is now 3-0 this season.

Autumn Davis added 11 points for the Rockets.

Spencer’s next game is Tuesday, Dec. 3, at home against Marshfield Columbus Catholic to open its Cloverbelt Conference East Division season.
