STOUGHTON – The Marshfield wrestling team was in top form to open its season, rolling to five wins to claim the Pieper Duals team title on Saturday at Stoughton High School.
The Tigers swept two matches, defeating Grafton 81-0 and Madison West 82-0, and also defeated Stoughton 62-11, Dodgeville 51-27 and Belleville Sugar River 63-15 to go undefeated.
Alex Davis (106 pounds), Micah Bremer (113), Jon Sternweis (132), Easton Ledden (150), Grayden Rode (165) and Caleb Dennee (215) each went undefeated for Marshfield.
Marshfield will open its Wisconsin Valley Conference dual meet season at home Thursday against D.C. Everest.
