ABBOTSFORD – Spencer held Abbotsford to just one made basket and five points in the second half to blow open a tight game and roll to a 56-26 nonconference girls basketball victory Monday night at Abbotsford High School.
The Rockets led 29-21 at halftime before dominating the second half with a 22-point advantage and improve to 5-1 this season with the road victory. Abbotsford is now 0-6.
Autumn Davis made all nine of her free throw attempts and finished with a team-high 22 points for Spencer.
Alexa Weber added nine points, and Emma Nieman and Carmen Krause each chipped in eight in the win.
Spencer returns to Cloverbelt Conference East Division action Thursday at home against Colby.
