Marshfield Middle School boys swimming wins one event at home triangular

MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield Middle School boys swim team won one event at its home triangular on Monday at Marshfield High School.

The Tigers’ 400-yard freestyle relay team of Brigs Puzz, Aaron Johnson, Jack Ruppel and Eli Tischendorf won the race in 5:10.19 for Marshfield’s lone win.

Puzz finished second in the 100 individual medley in 1:25.82 and the 50 backstroke in 40.38, Ruppel was runner-up in the 50 butterfly in 39.68, and Johnson took second in the 50 breaststroke in 47.46 as well for Marshfield.

Team scores were not kept at the meet, which also included teams from D.C. Everest Middle School and Wisconsin Rapids Middle School.
