IOLA – The Stratford boys basketball team kept its perfect season intact with a 52-46 nonconference win over Iola-Scandinavia on Friday night at Iola-Scandinavia High School.
The Tigers pulled out to a 24-18 lead by halftime and held that six-point lead at the end as they improve to 4-0 this season.
Drew Bruesewitz made seven of eight free throws and a pair of 3-pointers to finished with a team-high 15 points for Stratford. Alec Chapel added 12 points and Jett Schoenherr scored 10 for the Tigers.
Alex Robbins led Iola-Scandinavia (3-2) with 19 points.
Stratford will host Marathon for a Marawood Conference South Division game Tuesday at 7:15 p.m.
