OWEN – Owen-Withee held Spencer to 11 first-half points and went on to a 50-30 win in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division girls basketball game Tuesday night at Owen-Withee High School.
Owen-Withee (6-0, 4-0 Cloverbelt East) led 25-11 at halftime and Spencer could not recover, falling to 6-2 overall and 2-2 in the Cloverbelt East.
Autumn Davis scored 11 points and Carmen Krause added nine for the Rockets.
Madi Mueller led Owen-Withee with 16 points.
Both teams are back in action Friday as Spencer travels to Greenwood and Owen-Withee hosts Neillsville in a battle for first place in the Cloverbelt East.
