Stratford boys basketball grabs road win at Edgar

EDGAR – The Stratford boys basketball team bounced back from its first loss of the season on Tuesday to defeat Edgar 52-40 in a Marawood Conference South Division contest Friday night at Edgar High School.

Drew Bruesewitz scored 14 points, Jett Schoenherr added 11 and Alec Chapel had 10 for the Tigers, who are now 5-1 overall and 3-1 in the Marawood South.

Schoenherr was 5-for-6 from the field while Chapel made 5 of 7 shots to lead the way for Stratford.

Both teams are back in action Monday with Marawood South contests as Stratford plays at Wausau Newman Catholic and Edgar travels to Auburndale.
