MARSHFIELD – Marshfield forced 21 turnovers, held Wausau East to just seven made field goals, and rolled to a 74-17 win in Wisconsin Valley Conference girls basketball action Friday night at Marshfield High School.

The Tigers (4-2, 3-0 Wisconsin Valley Conference) cruised out to a 40-12 lead by halftime and held Wausau East (0-6, 0-3 WVC) to seven points in the second half to win going away.

Nine different Marshfield players scored in the victory, with Hailey Klumb leading the way with 15 points. Zaida Kolbeck added 14, McKenzie Holm 11 and Ella Allar 10 in the victory.

Marshfield hosts its annual Marshfield Tiger Holiday Invitational on Dec. 27 and Dec. 28, hosting Hudson and Oshkosh West.
