Davis scores 36 for Spencer girls basketball in loss to Edgar

EDGAR – Spencer guard Autumn Davis scored a career-high 36 points in the Rockets’ 66-53 loss to Edgar in a nonconference girls basketball game on Monday at Edgar High School.

Edgar outscored Spencer by 10 points in the second half to pull away and improve to 2-7 this season.

Davis had six 3-pointers and 6 of 8 free throws to finish to lead Spencer (6-4). Alexa Weber added seven points for the Rockets.

Savannah Koepke had 26 points for the Wildcats.

Spencer hosts Cadott for another nonconference game on Friday, Jan. 3.
