ORLANDO, Fla. – Landon Lee scored a career-high 29 points to lead the Marshfield boys basketball team to a 67-58 win over Knoxville (Tenn.) Catholic in its opening game at the KSA Holiday Tournament on Friday afternoon.
The Tigers used a 23-12 advantage in the second quarter to take a 37-28 lead into halftime and were able to hold on from there, improving to 4-2 this season.
Lee made five 3-pointers and three of four free throw attempts in the win for the Tigers.
Valin Ramberg added 16 points and Brooks Hinson 14 for Marshfield.
Marshfield will take on Middleton (Ohio) in a winners’ bracket game at 10 a.m. Saturday. The game will be streamed live at zaleskisports.com.
