STRATFORD – The Stratford boys basketball team dominated in the first half and rolled to a 54-38 win over Owen-Withee to win the championship game at its home Stratford Holiday Tournament on Saturday night.
The Tigers (8-1) pulled out to a 27-14 lead by halftime and were able to hold on the rest of the way.
Drew Bruesewitz scored 15 points and Brooks Vanderhoof added 13 in the win for Stratford.
Stratford’s next game is Friday, Jan. 3, at home against Stanley-Boyd.
